Welcome to the 2026 season at Lebanon Valley Dragway in West Lebanon, NY! Last weekend on Saturday, the season began with a drifting event that provided a great time for over 100 racers to take to the course for the first time in 2026. Sunday was supposed to be the season opening test and tune along with a swap meet.  Mother Nature had other plans when she provided downpours and snowflakes, moving the swap meet to the following weekend.

As the season approaches, we’ve made several off-season improvements, with more projects set to be finished in the coming weeks. The old novelty trailer has been removed, and a new concessions area has been added. Paving and painting has been added and refreshed.

The novelty area has also been reorganized, with new items now available on the first floor of the tower. An ATM is located in the tower’s office/novelty area as well as the one at the front gate. If you're in need of a helmet, helmet rentals are available in the tower office/novelty as well as a speedshop sponsored by K.B. Performance where there's brand new helmets, fire suits and other racing items that may be needed for racing.

The Novelty area and office are open during track operation hours on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We now also carry items you may have forgotten at home. Stop in and check it out.

On Friday April 24, the season kicked off with an open track rental test session which afforded those in attendance many opportunities to hit the track and get some of the cobwebs out and test the new combinations for the coming season.

Keep an eye on the schedule for future Friday test sessions which are open to everyone. Most are sponsored by individuals and clubs. The sessions offer the opportunity for drivers to bring their vehicle down the track at their own pace. Whether you’re making your first pass ever, dialing in a new combination, or fine-tuning your setup for upcoming racing, test & tune is the perfect environment to get valuable track time.

The track will feature full track preparation with both lanes open, and racers can choose between 1/8-mile or 1/4-mile passes. Full-time slips will be provided for every run so you can review your performance and make adjustments.

Fuel and food concessions are also available on these days.  If you sign up online on the Thursday before the event by 5pm you can save some money. If you’re indecisive and want to come on the day of the event, you can pay the higher rental fee at the gate.

On Saturday, April 25, the track saw the first day of competition for NODRAMA (Northeast  Old Drag Racers and Musclecar Association), NESSA (Northeast Super Street Association), SuperCars as well as test and tune.

The first race of NODRAMA was won by Darren Cubit from Bolton, CT when he defeated Shane Shahinian of Ballston Lake, NY. Steve Leclair of North Smithfield, RI and Michael Charron of Hebron, CT finished their first day in the semi-finals.

The first NESSA points race was won by Matt Viscione of Norwich, CT when he defeated David Pilbin of Norfolk, CT. Laura LeQue of Troy, NY finished her day in the semi-finals.

On Sunday, April 26, cars took to the track for a full day of testing along with an unscheduled quarter mile gamblers race for those wishing for some side-by-side handicap competition. The swap meet was held in the main lot with many vendors in attendance.

The winner of the Electronics Gamblers was Mike Rogers of Albany, NY when he defeated Herb Wagner of Ravena, NY in the final round. Adam Sheran of Chester, MA and Jeff Warner finished their day in the semi-finals.

The Non-Electronics Gamblers race was won by Michael Scribani of Howes Caves, NY when he defeated Ed Martelli of Schenectady, NY. Paul Scribani of Fultonville, NY finished his day in the semi-finals.
