Anyone wishing to attend the bracket finals whether as a team member or as an alternate MUST let the office know prior to the first round of the last day of racing (Sunday, August 25 or Wednesday, August 28). If the 25th or 28th should rain out and a decision was not made and you didn’t let the office know, it will NOT be assumed that you will be attending and it will be marked as a NO for attending.
If you are running in multiple classes, all decisions as to what class you will be running must be decided on the 25th.
This year the bracket finals will be held at Lebanon Valley. The team that will represent LVD will consist of the following:
13 Super / 13 Pro / 4 MC/Sled / 5 Sportsman and 1 High School
There may be alternates invited to race and these individuals will earn the right to race as an independent-non point earning racer and will be added to the roster in the order that they appear on the Lebanon Valley points sheet.
In the event of a tie, in order to break the tie, the following will be done:
One (1) point will be awarded to the competitor with the highest attendance for points days.
If that fails to break the tie, then;
One (1) point will be awarded to each competitor for each final round win in their category.
If that fails to break the tie, then;
One (1) point will be awarded to each competitor for each final round runner-up in their category.
If that fails to break the tie, then;
Best qualifier at the final race, or in the case of a non-laddered category, best reaction time during the second time trial will be awarded one (1) point.
