Champions Crowned as Summit ET Points Season Wraps at Lebanon Valley Dragway

Sunday, August 16, 2026 marked the final Summit ET Points race for the 2026 season, crowning the champions in Super, Pro, Motorcycle, Junior Dragster and Junior Street and finalizing the drivers who will run in the 2026 Summit ET Bracket finals that will be hosted by Lebanon Valley Dragway August 27-29.
Unfortunately, the finals in Super and Pro were ironically met with a battle with Mother Nature and the two finals were rained out with the drivers splitting the winnings.
In Super Eliminator, the final came down to Troy Champlin and Frank Berard with Brandon Miller finishing his night in the semi-finals. Jamie Dymond of Kerhonkson, NY took the title of Champion of Super.
In Pro Eliminator, the final came down to Grant Nichols Jr and Henry Trapp with Mark Lataille and Geno Picozzi finishing in the semi-finals. Grant Nichols Jr of East Hampton, CT took the top honors of the 2026 Champion of Pro Eliminator.
In Motorcycle/Sled Eliminator, Adam Sheran of Blandford, MA won the first of a double up day when he defeated Shawn Rainey of Waterford, CT. James Sansevero of Durham, CT and Mason Varin of Coventry, RI finished their day in the semi-finals. Shawn Rainey finished the day by taking the lead and the championship in Motorcycle/Sled for 2026.
In Junior Dragster, Giuseppe Porfilio of East Longmeadow, MA defeated Mason Russo of Norfolk, CT. Mason Varin of Coventry, RI finished his day in the semi-finals. Giuseppe Porfiio not only took the win on the day but finished his season in the top spot as Champion of the Junior Dragsters.
In Junior Street, Colton Couture of Manchester, CT took the win when he defeated Trevor Coss of Burlington, CT. Gavin Russo of Norfolk, CT finished his day in the semi-finals and took home top honors of a championship in Junior Street.
The Sunday Open Trophy class was won by Carly Charron of Hebron, CT when she defeated Emily Rogers of Fort Edward, NY in the final. Thomas Stocklas of Troy, NY finished his day in the semi-finals.
Sunday hosted day two of competition for the NETO Classes (North East Timing Organization) in two categories. In NETO Competition class, Jeff Donnelly of Newfield, NJ defeated Cody Powell of Cochecton, NY in the final round. Tyler Segura of New Milford, CT finished his day in the semi-finals.
In NETO Nostalgia, Scott “Chopper” Hall of West Milford, NJ defeated Frank Paradiso Jr of Marlboro, NJ. Jim Tormmelen of Midland Park, NJ finished his day in the semi-finals.
Clayton Deming of Torrington, CT defeated Ken Campbell of North Yarmouth, ME in the second day of the East Coast Gassers. Kevin Lynch of Sherrills Ford, NC finished his day in the semi-finals.
In the second day of Pro Stock Sleds, Joseph Garbus of Terryville, CT took top honors when he defeated John Davis Jr of Ford Edward, NY. Joshua Hoxie of Winsted, CT finished his day in the semi-finals.
In the Affordable CDL Top Dragster/Top Sportsman class, Adam Sheran finished his day with his second win in a different class when he defeated Mike DeMicco III of Kingston, NY in the final round. Fran Callemolla III of Watertown, CT and Karyl Bell of West Sand Lake, NY finished their day in the semi-finals.
