I never thought we’d get it in on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Lebanon Valley Dragway in West Lebanon, NY. For once, it wasn’t the weather that had us up against the wall of time but the amount of categories that were racing and the number of cars. We had a little of everything from nostalgia cars to motorcycles and pro stock sleds.

In the No Box ¼ Mile Gamblers, Geno Picozzi of Warwick, RI defeated Warren Wright of Salem CT in the final. Edward Martelli of Schenectady, NY finished his day in the semi-finals.

In the Box ¼ Mile Gamblers, Grant Nichols Sr. of Marlborough, CT defeated Dan Caissie of Thompson, CT in the final. Rob Day of Colchester, CT and Bill Brown of East Haddam, CT finished their day in the semi-finals.

The North East Timing Organization (NETO) Competition was won by Jeff Donnelly of Newfield, NJ when he defeated Christian Huebner of Rock Tavern, NY. Cody Powell of Cochecton, NY finished in the semi-finals.

The North East Timing Organization (NETO) Nostalgia class was won by Frank Paradiso, Jr. of Marlboro, NJ when he defeated Steve Consentino of Damont, NJ in the final round. Jim Trommelen of Midland Park, NJ and Paula Nappi of Mahopac, NY finished their day in the semi-finals.

The East Coast Gassers were on hand for day one of two of competition. Clayton Deming of Torrington, CT took the win over Kevin Lynch of Sherrills Ford, NC. John Lang of West Yarmouth MD finished in the semi-finals.

Prostock Sleds were on hand for a double header weekend. Joseph Garbus of Terryville, CT took the win on day one when he won over Joshua Hoxie of Winsted, CT. Chris Ferragamo of Templaton, MA finished in the semi-finals.

Bikes in the Valley were up next in the 9.2 Below where Warren Dondero of East Northport, NY defeated Matt Gazaille of Putnam, CT for the win. Kevin Mathews of Lebanon, ME and Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY finished in the semi-finals.

Bikes in the Valley Pro ET was won by Adam Sheran of Blandford, MA when he defeated Jonathan Tisdale of Napanoch, NY. Joe DiPiazza finished in the semi-finals.

Bikes in the Valley Street ET was won by Desmond White of Springfield, MA when he defeated Duke Huyck of Valatie, NY. Larry Hoyt Jr of Elizaville, NY and Andrew Aubney of Waterbury, CT finished in the semi-finals.

The race report from Jason Heintz of the NODRAMA crew is as follows: “Six Down and Four to Go. NODRAMA Season 9 is getting insane coming down the stretch. Last week, we had Jeff on Jeff crime. This week, Brothers' Burns on Burns with a side of Cousin Burns. It's like the Hansen Triplets of NODRAMA. Here we go!

37 on the ladder for another hard fight ahead to come out on top of a 6-round day. For the first time in their storied NODRAMA careers, the Brothers' Burns have never faced off. Round 2 matchup put Jim against Kurt. Brother bragging rights for next few weeks goes to... Jimmy Burns. Jimmy then continued 2 more rounds meeting up and getting stopped in his tracks by, The King. More on that below.... But first just another reminder. Jim Burns beat Kurt Burns with Cousin Billy Burns watching it all from the sidelines after his inagural NODRAMA race

Meeting in the finals were 2x NODRAMA Champ Jeff Kraenzle facing red hot Mad Stash Michael Charron. In an absolute nail biter at the stripe, and taking his 2nd win on the season... CONGRATUALTIONS Mike Charron! Jeff The King Kraenzle with the runner-up on the day.

With this 2nd win for Mike, his top spot has some daylight from number 2 Shane Shahinian. The Gaptizing at the top has begun. Back half of the season is where consistency wins championships. Nobody is safe. Anything can happen in NODRAMA on any given Saturday. This one will absolutely come down to the end.

August 29th is a non-race for NODRAMA as LVD is hosting the Division 1 Bracket Finals. This date is the new member cut-off for NODRAMA. Anyone interested in joining our merry band of pirates, must do so by August 29th. Please reach out to Jason Heintz via email if interested. drjay0@yahoo.com (Zero after drjay)

Next up for us is Event 8 , on Saturday September 5th. As always, stay tuned...”
