Saturday Gamblers, Central Mass and Bikes in the Valley Compete at the Valley

Saturday, May 14, 2022- Saturday welcomed the Central Mass Drag Racing Club for the first time in the 2022 season and also kicked off the season for the Orient Express Bikes in the Valley. For those racers that were testing and tuning, they had the opportunity to join in one of the gamblers races.

Dan Pickett of Holden, MA defeated Scott Lindquist of Jefferson, MA in a double break-out in the final of Central Mass. Lars Adams of Princeton, MA lost in the semi’s.



Dennis LeBlanc defeated Ryan Ouillette of Schenectady, NY in the No Box Gamblers. Shawn Nichols of Marlborough, CT lost in the semi’s.



Dayna Sawchyn of Norwich, CT took the win over Stephen Pray of Berlin, CT in the Electronic Gamblers with Mike Rogers of Albany, NY and Jamie Dymond of Kerhonkson, NY, who was driving his wife’s dragster, last in the semi’s.



Bikes in the Valley held their first race of the season sponsored by K.B. Performance. John Hastings of Poughkeepsie, NY defeated Guy Gardner of Stuyvesant, NY in the final of the 9.2 Below class with Brian Propper of Malta, NY and Matt Gazaille of Whiensville, MA losing in the semi’s.

Bikes in the Valley Pro ET was won by Dave Rutkauskas of Waterbury, CT over Guy Gardner of Stuyvesant, NY. David Ferguson of Newburgh, NY and Ed Johnson of Naugatuck, CT lost in the semi’s.

Bikes in the Valley Street ET was won by Scott Adams of Queensbury, NY over Duke Huyck of Valatie, NY while Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY was defeated in the semi’s.

Bikes in the Valley return to the Valley for their next race on Saturday, June 4.
