Sportsman NHRA.TV Challenge Trophy finds a Home in Connecticut

On Wednesday, September 10, 2025 a special race was held in the Sportsman ET class with the winner taking home a coveted Wally trophy. Other classes ran for trophies and prizes while there were also quite a few test and tune cars that showed up for the third to last Wednesday night of the season at Lebanon Valley Dragway in West Lebanon, NY.
In the Street Trophy class, Joe Wilkinson of Averill Park, NY defeated Anthony DePasquale of Valatie, NY in the final. Randy Nyborg of Plainville, CT finished in the semi-finals.

Joe Coss of Burlington, CT took home the NHRA.TV Challenge trophy in the sportsman ET class when he defeated Ed Martelli of Schenectady, NY. James Ferrara of Gansevoort, NY finished in the semi finals.

Ernie Sargent of Chicopee, MA took home the trophy in Street Stick when he defeated Vince Berzal of Saugerties, NY. Jesse Farquhar of Monson, MA finished his night in the semi-finals.

Chris Cunningham of Averill Park, NY took home the trophy in the Pure Street Motorcycle class when he defeated Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY in the final round. Ed Green of Springfield, MA finished his night in the semi-finals.
As a reminder there are two, yes, that's right, TWO Wednesday nights left in the 2025 season on Wednesday, September 17 an Wednesday, September 24. Pray for good weather so we can have some awesome racing on these final two night racing events. See you then!
