Bruso Breaks the Runner-Up Curse, Bradley Stops Manchester's Winning Runs

The Wednesday night Street Test and Tune and races on Augsut 24, 2022 brought out quite a few street test and tune along with some nail biting side by side action as the points races in Sportsman ET, Street Stick and Pure Street Motorcycle have one week left, August 31 to determine the champions for 2022.


After August, the Street Nights will continue through the month of September with some fun specials along with a change in the Sportsman racing to 1/8 mile so racers can get some time in with 1/8 mile racing before the bracket finals. All other categories and test and tune will remain on the 1/4 mile.

In the Sportsman ET Class, Justin Bruso o Southbridge, MA finally broke through the runner-up curse and took home the win when he defeated Michael Bloch of Colchester, CT. Nelson Belot Jr and Jeff Kraenzle lost in the semi's.


Ed Wallace of Middletown, CT defeated Marc Faucher of Cheshire, MA in the final of Street Stick. Corey Dufel was defeated in the semis.


Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY finally put the brakes on Kevin Manchester of Winsted CT as he was going after four in a row in the final of Pure Street Motorcycle. Sean Gore lost i the semis.


John Simons of Charlton Depot, MA defeated Anthony Catricala of Troy, NY in the final of Street Trophy. Chris Badcock of Berlin, NY lost in the semis.
