Weekend Results for June 28 & 29, 2025 at LVD

Friday, June 27, 2025 was to start off the weekend with the Night of Fire. With nothing on the radar, the night was off to a good start until Mother Nature decided to go off her meds and rained on our parade before the show cars could get on the track. Anyone who was in attendance may use their wrist bands for any upcoming events at Lebanon Valley Dragway.


We can suggest this coming Friday, July 4 as a choice is your schedule permits. The NHRA Division 1 event is coming to the Valley from July 3-6. July 4 will hold qualifying for all the sportsman classes as well as three rounds of qualifying for the alcohols classes at 12, 3 and 5pm. After the 5pm round of qualifying Rich Hanna and Ernie Bogue will be in attendance to show off their jet cars to close out the day. Gates open at 8:00am with qualifying to begin at 8:30am.


On Saturday, we hosted the first of two days of racing for the All Star (Stock/Super Stock) Racing Association as well as the the Northeast Super Street Association. Unfortunately, due to several clean ups, the final for the ASRA was held off until Sunday as time ran out for us to stop so that the speedway could begin their Saturday night program. All other races were completed. An unscheduled non-electronic and electronic gamblers race were held as well as a junior gamblers race.


The junior dragster gamblers race was won by Dayton Cocchiaro of Wallingford, CT when he defeated Ryan Avallone of Linden, NJ. David Scranton of Sandown, NH finished in the semi-finals.


Kyle Armstrong of Hartford, NY won the no-box/non-electronic gamblers race when he defeated George McGuigan, Jr of East Hampton, CT in the final. Michael Bloch of East Hampton, CT and Keith DeDominicis of Torrington, CT finished in the semi-finals.

Grant Nichols Sr of Marlborough, CT won the box/electronic gamblers race when he defeated Stephen Pray of Berlin, CT. John Ringuette of North Attleboro, MA finished his day in the semi-finals.

Laura LeQue of Troy, NY won the Northeast Super Street race when she defeated Frank Volpe III of Poughkeesie, NY. William Blaker III of New Rochelle, NY and Kenny Van Gorder of Kingston, NY finished their day in the semi-finals.

The final three in the All Star Stock/Super Stock Association race were down to the semi-finals with DJ Pires getting the bye run to the final. Nick Barsamian raced Gary Parker with Nick taking the win where he would meet DJ on Sunday for the final round where Nick would take the win over DJ.


That would bring us to Sunday's racing on June 29, 2025. Under the bright sunshine, close to 300 cars were there to compete in the Summit ET Points race sponsored by Innovative Performance along with race two for both the All Star Stock/Super Stock Association and the Northeast Super Street Association.

Shawn Nichols of Marlborough, CT took the top seat when he defeated Chris Strong of Chester, MA in the final of Super Pro. Tom Flemke, Jr of East Hampden, CT and Ray Stanton of Poughkeepsie, NY finished in the semi-finals.

Paul Scribani of Fultonville, NY took the top honors in Pro Eliminator when he defeated Stu Brown, Jr. of Broad Brook, CT. Billy Kirpens, Jr of Pittsfield, MA finished his day in the semi-finals.

Adam Sheran of Blandford, MA took on Louie Supczek of Ware, MA to take the win in the final of Motorcycle/Sled Eliminator. Kim Kiniry of Saugerties, NY finished his day in the semi-finals.

Mason Spinelli of Latham, NY won the Junior Dragster category when he defeated Giuseppe Porfilio of East Longmeadow, MA. David Scranton of Sandown, NH finished in the semi-finals.


John Couture of Ellington, CT took the win in Junior Street when he defeated Haley Powers of Hampden, MA in the final. Ryleigh Morgan of Ballston Spa, NY finished in the semi-finals.


Rob Campbell of Watervliet, NY defeated Mike Reed of Cherry Valley, NY in the final of Open Trophy. Anthony Naccaroto of Kingston, NY finished in the semi-finals.


George McGuigan, Jr of East Hampton, ,CT took the win in Northeast Super Street when he defeated Drew Wonderly of Hurley, NY in the final. Carly Wolf of Lumberton, NJ finished her day in the semi-finals.

In race two of the All Star Stock/Super Stock Association, TJ Boucher of Assonet, MA took the win over Jim Farrell of East Nassau, NY. Nic Barsamian finished his second day in the semi-finals.
