Wednesday Street Nite and Test & Tune Back Underway in the Heat

Under the weather watch of possible severe thurnderstoms and heat advisories in the West Lebanon, NY area, July 10, 2024 was business as normal at Lebanon Valley Dragway with the weather staying to the west and north, availing those in attendance to get plenty of runs. After a week off, the racers in the Innovative Perormance street classes were more than ready for a hot night of great side by side competition.


In the Sportsman ET Class, Russ Wilber of Ghent, NY took his 1966 Chevy Belair Station Wagon to the winner's Circle when he defeated Jim Schmidbauer of Albany, NY in his 1972 Chevy Nova in the final. Stephen Trembley of Ludlow, MA with his 1934 Chevy Sedan finished the night in the semi-finals.


Colby Pitcher of Morris, CT took top honors when he defeated Vince Berzal of Saugerties, NY in the final of Street Stick. Dan Murphy of Oxford, CT finished his night in the semi-finals.


In Pure Street Motorcycle, Bob Bradley of Fort Edward took the top spot when he defeated Guy Gardner of Stuyvesant, NY. Scott Goyette of Chicipee, MA and Duke Huyck of Valatie, NY finished their night in the semi-finals.


In Street Trophy, it was a battle of the local racers. Chris Badcock of Berlin, NY defeated Garry Daury of New Lebanon, NY in the final. Joe Wilkinson of Averill Park, NY and Zachary Klein of New Lebanon, NY finished in the semi-finals.
