Another Wednesday with great weather on August 9, 2023 brought out a great number of street cars both in competition and testing their set ups. Some of the racing classes saw shake ups in the points with a couple weeks left in the 2023 points.
Street Trophy kept the locals in the competition with Jay Ranken of Averill Park, NY taking the win over Wayne Daury of New Lebanon, NY. Glenn Koblenzer of Schenectady, NY and Jim Hinman of Schenectady, NY lost in the semi-finals.
Kevin Manchester of Winsted, CT extended his points lead when he won over Duke Huyck of Valatie, NY. Adam Sheran of Chester, MA and Larry Hoyt, Jr of Saugerties, NY lost in the semi-finals.
Ken Boyer of Palmer, MA defeated Ed Wallace of Middletown, CT in the final of Street Stick. Marc Faucher of Cheshire, MA lost in the semi-finals.
Nelson Belot of Dalton, MA is now tied for the points lead in Sportsman Eliminator with Billy Kirpens, Jr. with his win over Bruce Staples of Stephentown, NY. Michael Bloch of Colchester, MA lost in the semi-finals.
