Wednesday Nights Speed Into September at The Valley of Speed

From now until the last Wednesday in September, Lebanon Valley Dragway will host street categories in Sportsman, Trophy, Stick and Motorcycle as well as open test and tune for any vehicle. That means three more weeks, September 10, 17 and 24 until the season of Wednesdays are done so don't miss out.


The results from the first of the September Wednesday nights, September 3, 2025 didn't surprise too many at Lebanon Valley Dragway in West Lebanon, NY. There were some very close side by side racing action that led to the winner's circle. In the sportsman class, Joe Coss of Burlington, CT defeated Michael Bloch of Colchester, CT in the final. Marty Melanson of Meriden, CT and Jim Schmidbauer of Albany, NY finished in the semi-finals.

Patrick Guida of West Boylston, MA took top honors in the Street Stick class when he defeated Colby Pitcher of Morris, CT in the final round. Ernie Sargent of Chicopee, MA and Ken Boyer of Palmer, MA finished their nights in the semi-finals.

Jeff Cross of Nassau, NY took home the trophy in Street Trophy when he defeated Mike O'Mahony of Danbury, CT in the final. Anthony DePasquale of Valatie, NY finished his night in the semi-finals.

Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY took home to big trophy when he defeated Duke Huyck of Valatie, NY who took home the little trophy. Chris Cunningham of Nassau, NY and Desmond White of Springfield, MA finished in the semi-finals.
