On Wednesday, June 25, 2025 it may have been a bit warm but it was sunny and racing was on point at Lebanon Valley Dragway. The week prior had been rained out after first round and the decision as to who would be the representative for the King of the Track race on July 20 was postponed until the following week.
The King of the Track is a special race where the winners of each Summit ET Class in Super, Pro, Motorcycle and Sportsman all race off to crown the king of the track at the end of a specified race day. The sportsman class winner is invited to that Sunday's race to participate in this race.
A quick reminder, there is no racing on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 as we prepare for the NHRA Division 1 Event that will be hosted at Lebanon Valley Dragway from Thursday through Sunday. Come on out and watch some awesome side by side action.

In the Sportsman class, Russ Wilber of Ghent, NY took the top honors and representative position for the King of the Track when he defeated Joe Horacek, Sr of Petersburg, NY. Louis Hahn of Canaan, NY and James Ferrara of Gansevoort, NY finished their night in the semi-finals.

Vince Berzal of Saugerties, NY took the win when he defeated Ernie Sargent of Chicopee, MA in the final of Street Stick. George Manolis of Danbury, CT finished his night in the semi-finals.

Rich Kopec of Cairo, NY won in Pure Street Motorcycle, when he defeated Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY in the final. Desmond White of Springfield, MA ended his night in the semi-finals.
And finally, Street Trophy. Greg Kloten of Wethersfield, CT defeated William Harpa of Massachusetts. Ed Cooper of Conway, MA and Jeff Cross of Nassau, NY finished in the semi-finals.
Congratulations to all the racers on a great night. See you all on Wednesday, July 9!
