Sunday, April 24, 2022- What started out what looked like it would be a miseraby cold day, turned out to be a really nice sunny afternoon that awarded those who attended the first gamblers race/test and tune session to many passes and some great competition.
Mike Rogers premiered his new ride and placed it in the winner's circle on it's maiden competition when he defeated Dana Bochan in the box gamblers race.
Billy Kirpens Jr. stepped up to start the season with a win when he took the light over Grant (LG) Nichols Jr. in the no box gamblers.
The first points race in the Summit series will be Sunday, May 8. This coming weekend the Valley of Speed will be the host to the PCRichard.com NHRA Division 1 National Open followed by the opening street night on Wednesday, May 4.
