What started out as a foggy morning, turned into a beautiful day for drag racing at Lebanon Valley Dragway. With clubs NODRAMA, the East Coast Gassers, Tri-9 Impala Club as well as some quarter mile gamblers races in non-electronic and electronic taking to the track, the day finished with some familiar names taking their place in the winner's circle.
The Non-Electronic Gamblers race was won by Scott Carpenter who defeated Kevin Kruckas. Warren Wright of Salem, CT lost in the semi-finals.
The Electronic Gamblers race was won by Jamie Dymond of Koerhonkson, NY who defeated Grant Nichols, Sr. of Marlborough, CT in the final. Lou Supczak lost in the semi-finals.
The East Coast Gassers set off on day one of a two day back to back race at the Valley. Clayton Deming of Torrington, CT defeated Jim Wheeler of Morris, CT. Joseph Lang of West Yarmouth, MD was defeated in the semi-finals.
NODRAMA's Ritchie DeGraff of Woodstock, NY defeated Jack Becker of Ashford, CT. The other Ritchie DeGraff of Woodstock, NY lost in the semi-finals. See their full report in the other blog post, along with their current point standings.
The Tri 9 Impala Club visited the Valley and Nabil Goffey of Maryland defeated Roland Lella of Hunt, NY. David Servat of Chili, NY and Nicholas Butler of New Castle, DE lost in the semi-finals.
