With a record number of over 300 cars in competition at The Valley, Sunday, August 15, 2021's Summit ET Series event sponsored by Laureyns United turned out to be a day full of side by side races that would tighten the points in all categories. With $2000 to win on the line in the Super Eliminator and Pro Eliminator categories, as well as bonuses in Motorcycle, Junior Dragsters and Junior Street, competitors left it on the line to finished the day setting up the points races in each category for what will be a nail biter for the next two weeks.
Two points races remain to determine who will be crowned champion in the Summit ET Series classes on Sunday, August 22 and Sunday, August 29. It is anyone's guess as to who will be on top. More importantly, the top 13 in Super Eliminator and top 13 in Pro Eliminator as well as the top 4 in Motorcycle and the Junior Street Champion will be tapped to be on team Lebanon Valley along with the top 5 competitors from Wednesday Night's Sportsman class to represent The Valley at the Northeast Division Bracket Finals being held this year at Lebanon Valley at the end of September.
