First Sunday Summit ET Points Race in the Books for 2025

On Sunday, May 11, 2025 Lebanon Valley Dragway finally got a full race day in the books when racers and their families came together to race and to celebrate Mother's Day with their racing families and friends. In addition to the Summit ET Series categories, LVD also hosted the East Coast Gassers, North East Super Street (NESSA) and the first race of the Affordable CDL Top Dragster/Top Sportsman 1/8 Mile Series. With over 250 in attendance, the day was filled with awesome side by side racing action.

In Super Pro, Abbey Beecher of Winsted, CT kicked off the 2025 season with a win, when she defeated Kevin Billetts, Jr. of Rensselaer in the final. Matt Ticcony of Marlboro, NY and Matt Gazaille of Putnam, CT finished their day in the semi-finals.

In Pro Eliminator, Chris Lofgren of Schuylerville, NY defeated James Brown of Readsboro, VT in the final. Bill Kirpens, Sr. of Pittsfield, MA finished his day in the semi-finals.

Francis Supczak of Ware, MA defeated Matt Gazaille of Putnam, CT in the final of the Motorcycle/Sled ET category. Ben Fish of Averill Park, NY finsihed his day in the semi-finals.

Mason Spinelli of Latham, NY defeated Billy Foster of Cortlandt Manor, NY in the final of Junior Dragsters. Giuseppe Porfilio of East Longmeadow, MA finished in the semi-finals.

Gavin Russo of Norfolk, CT defeated Haley Powers of Hampden, MA in the finals of Junior Street. Ryleigh Morgan of Ballston Spa, NY and John Couture of Ellington, CT finishing in the semi-finals.

Bob Rizzo of Hyde Park, NY defeated Aidan Baker of Cumberland, RI in the final of Open Trophy. Mark Reed of Canajoharie, NY and Johnny Reale of Nanuet, NY finished in the semi-finals.

Vinny Cocchiaro of Wallingford, CT defeated Kyle Torres in the final of the East Coast Gassers. Ed Linus of Mays Landing, NJ finished in the semi-finals.

The NESSA final saw Frank Volpe III defeat Mike Fitts of Groton, CT. Dew Wonderly of Hurley, NY finished in the semi-finals.

Frank Berard of Johnsonville, NY took on Jenna Nichols of Marlborough, CT in the final of the Affordable CDL Top Dragster/Top Sportsman series with Berard taking the win. Brian Hansbury of Ballston Spa, NY and Grant Nichols of Marlborough, CT finished in the semi-finals.
