Finally a Saturday with Great Weather

Saturday, July 12, 2025 finally was a great Saturday with favorable weather, where we were able to host points events for NODRAMA (Northeast Old Drag Racers and Musclecar Association) and NESSA (Northeast Super Street Association), gamblers races and test and tune. There wasn't a gamblers race schedule for that day, however, more racers were interested in having some fun competition so one was added.

In the No Box Gamblers, Scott Wrzesien of Ware, MA took the win when he defeated Loretta Boyle of Wappingers Falls, NY. David Luke finished his day in the semi-finals.

In the Box Gamblers, Geno Picozzi of Warwich, RI took the win when he defeated Rich Bergeron of Bulington, CT. Rick Laureyns of Pittsfield, MA finished his day in the semi-finals.

NODRAMA finally had another points race under their belt after starting the season with repeated rain outs. Kurt Burns of Salt Point, NY took top honors on the day when he defeated Steve McDevitt of Woodbury, CT. Michael Charron of Hebron, CT and Jody Kenly of West Hurley, NY finished the day in the semi-finals.

Ray Butler of Enfield, CT returned to the winner's circle in NESSA when he defeated Kenny VanGorder of Kingston, NY in the final round. George McGuigan, Jr. of East Hampton, CT finished in the semi-finals.
