Another Great Street Nite in the Books

If you missed Wednesday, August 14, 2024, it was a great night with no rain. Although there were spotty thunderstorms and rain showers on either side of the valley, the valley stayed dry and racing went on like planned. With only a couple of points nights left, the points are closing in on completion for the Sportsman team for the bracket finals. This year the top 5 in the points will be representing Team Lebanon Valley at the Bracket Finals race which will be held at the track in September.

In the Sportsman class, it was the battle of the family when the final round saw father and son Mike and Nick Maynard of Schaghticoke, NY duke it out. Mike Maynard defeated his son, Nick giving him his first win in many years. Billy Kirpens, Jr of Pittsfield continued with his points lead and Russ Wilber of Ghent, NY finished in the semi-finals.

The Street Stick class saw Corey Dufel of Fort Johnson, NY defeat John Orloff of Northville, NY. Dan Murphy of Oxford, CT and Vince Berzal of Saugerties, NY finished their night in the semi-finals.

Guy Gardner of Stuyvesant, NY defeated Rich Kopec of Cairo, NY in the final of Pure Street Motorcycle. Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY and Larry Hoyt, Jr of Elizaville, NY finished in the semi-finals.

Anthony DePasquale of Valatie, NY defeated Greg Kloten of Wethersfield, CT in the final of Street Trophy. Zachary Klein of New Lebanon, NY finished his night in the semi-finals.
