As the days grow longer and the excitement builds, it’s nearly time once again for engines to roar and tires to hit the pavement at Lebanon Valley Dragway in West Lebanon, NY. This year promises both familiar traditions and new changes, with plenty of thrilling racing and camaraderie in the months ahead.
Pre-Season Preparation and Spring Clean Up
The dedicated crew has spent recent weekends preparing the track and ensuring all equipment is ready for action. To kick off the season, we invite racers, fans, and friends to join us for a pit area clean-up. Your participation will help make our shared home away from home sparkle for the season.
The Spring Clean Up will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM. Volunteers are encouraged to bring leaf blowers and other equipment to assist with cleaning the pit area, preparing for opening day.
Season Kickoff Events
The first Drifting event of the season is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the main lot near the clubhouse. Drifting events will be held approximately once a month, so be sure to check the schedule for upcoming dates.
On Sunday, April 19, we will host open testing for all vehicles on the ¼ mile track, alongside a Spring Swap Meet. Take this opportunity to clear out your garage and perhaps earn a little extra cash for the season—remember, one person’s unwanted items might be another’s treasure.
NHRA Chassis Certification
Those needing chassis certification can take advantage of the NHRA certification team’s presence on Friday, April 24, Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26. Sign up via the website at www.dragway.com to secure your spot. Don’t delay—spaces are limited.
Updates to Summit ET Races
This season introduces buy backs in Summit ET races for both Pro and Super classes. First round runner-ups can re-enter by paying at the back of the staging lanes when called at the start of the class. Buy back participants will compete against each other first, followed by the rest of the class. Be sure not to miss the call for buy back runs—winners will return for regular entry in round three.
Friday Track Rentals and No Time/No Rules Events
Personalized test sessions are available during Friday Track Rentals. Check the website for schedule, pricing, and pre-registration details—pre-register by Thursday at 5:00 PM to save $30. If you’re unsure about participating, you can pay the full fee at the gate on the event day. The first track rental is Friday, April 24.
Scottie Wheels and Ralph Miolla return with their No Time/No Rules extended track rentals and events. Multiple dates will be offered this season, with the first event on Friday, May 1. Check the schedule for details and registration information.
