Sunday's Points Race Beats the Weather and Gets it Done

On the morning of Sunday, June 22, 2025 there were a lot of people who were woke up to the claps of thunder and down pours of rain. We made it through Friday with a great day and Saturday for the first time in forever but the outlook for Sunday at 5am was looking bleak. On the call of management, we held a delay to make a determination whether to try to race or not until 8am. Watching the radar closely, it was one of those calls that was a 50-50 call. With the final check, it was determined to DO IT!

We have to thank the track crew. They bust their butts to work in the track and to give the best racing surface to the racers and Sunday was no exception. After a couple of hours of drying and prep, the track was ready to go and so were the racers.
