Second Wednesday Street Night at LVD Beats Rain Forecast

Leave it to the weather forecast to say rain for a week and then when the day comes, the weather is off by quite a bit. That's what happened when Wednesday, May 14, 2025 rolled around. The long range a week before the event, called for a wash out. Then Wednesday morning, scattered showers were called for, south of the track. Reports from all over the Capital Region was showers all day long. As the day went on, the showers split to the east and west leaving Lebanon Valley in a hole of clear skies and guess what? We raced!!
Other than a brief sprinkle that only stopped racing momentarily, the night of racing pushed forward and all classes were finished. In the Sportsman class, Nick Maynard of Schaghticoke, NY defeated Nelson Belot, Jr of Dalton, MA. Billy Kirpens, Jr. of Pittsfield, MA and Jay Ranken of Averill Park, NY finished their night in the semi-finals.

Vince Berzal of Saugerties, NY defeated Mark LeBlanc of North Smithfield, RI in the final of Street Stick. Sean Kibbey of Sienna, NY finished his night in the semi-finals.

Chris Cunningham of Nassau, NY took top honors when he defeated Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY in the final round of Pure Street Motorcycle. Larry Hoyt of Elizaville, NY and Guy Gardner of Stuyvesant, NY finished in the semi-finals.
Ed Cooper of Conway, MA defeated Tom McClurg of Hillsdale, NY in the final of Street Trophy. Anthony DePasquale of Valatie, NY finished his night in the semi-finals.
