Saturday, July 25, 2026 was an awesome wheels up day for drag racing at Lebanon Valley Dragway in West Lebanon, NY. As the traditional day of testing,  the Northeast Old Drag Racer and MuscleCar Association (NODRAMA) and Central Mass Drag Racers (CMDR) took to the track as well as gamblers races in both electronics and non-electronics, tires were smokin’, engines were revving and the trophies were handed out.

In the No Box Gamblers (non-electronics) on the ¼ mile, Cody Dombroski of Spencer, MA took home the win when he defeated Geno Picozzi of Warwick, RI in the final round. Rob Ibbitson finished his day in the semi-finals.

In the Box Gamblers (electronics) on the ¼ mile, Amanda Langenback of Wynantskill, NY driving the dragster owned by Wendy Hansbury (that’s why the photo has Wendy on the side of it), defeated Jim Burns of Poughkeepsie, NY in the final. Anthony Nadeau of Palmer, MA finished his day in the semi-finals.

In the Central Mass Drag Racers, Matt Brooks of Millbury, MA took top honors when he defeated Richard Cosenza Jr of Auburn, MA in the finals. Greg LeBlanc of Marlboro, MA and James Gosselin of Northbridge, MA finished in the semi-finals.

Jason Heintz’s report from the pits on NODRAMA, “Jeff on Jeff crime, Ford on Ford, Flip Flop at the top. NODRAMA had it all at Lebanon Valley Dragway this weekend for event number 6.

Another Saturday, Saturday, Saturday! and..., another packed ladder with 36 on the NODRAMA board. The shakeup in the Top10 mid-season continues. Nobody is a duck at this point. Anything can happen on any given Saturday. Angela Cook must have peered into her crystal ball with a random hilarious meme on our group page. Meeting in the semi-finals was Jeff Currie on 2x champion Jeff Kraenzle, with Jeff Currie coming out on top taking one spot in the final round. While Mike Mad Stash Charron had a Comp Bye securing the other finals' lane. Down came the tree and in an absolute photo finish, Ford on Ford final, taking his first win of 2026, Jeff Currie!

With the win, Jeff C, moved up an insane 7 spots to not only crack into the Top 10 but, march all the way into the 4th spot. Slow and steady Jeff The King Kraenzle has been chipping away unnoticed all season, has made his way into the Top3. With another consistent showing, Mike Charron's runner-up finish flip-flopped the top spot, taking over the number 1 from last week's winner Shane Shahinian. This is going to be absolutely WILD down the stretch.

Event 7, on August 15th, stay tuned...”
