On Wednesday, July 15, 2026 we made it through another Wednesday, even though the skies threatened with smoke from the Canadian wildfires which made the skies cloudy and it was a bit warm at Lebanon Valley Dragway.

The points races are tightening up as we are in the last half of the season. In the Sportsman/Street ET class, Nelson Belot Jr. of Richmond, MA took top honors this week when he defeated Joe Horacek, Sr. of Petersburg, NY in the final. Martin Melanson of Meriden, CT and Billy Kirpens, Jr of Pittsfield, MA finished their night in the semi-finals.

The Street Stick class saw Michael Sr. Martin of Huntington, MA take the win in the final when he defeated Patrick Guida of West Boylston, MA. Vince Berzal of Saugerties, NY and Mike Reed of Sharon Springs, NY finished in the semi-finals.

In Pure Street Motorcycle, it was another family affair when Guy Gardner of Stuyvesant, NY defeated Chris Cunningham of Nassau, NY in the final. Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY and Jose Cabrera of Springfield, MA finished their night in the semi-finals.

In Street Trophy, Steve Larsen of Hopewell Junctions, NY took the top honors when he defeated Mark Reed of Canajoharie, NY.
As a side note, if anyone has any photos that they take on Wednesday nights and would like to submit them, you can send them via email to lebanonvalleydragway@gmail. com or send them to me, Sue Bell on Facebook. Thanks!
