On July 13-18, 2026,  NHRA held the Right Trailers Eastern Conference Finals at Thunder Valley Bristol Dragway in Bristol, Tennessee. At this event, families from all over  the  country  sent their kids to race amongst over 600  other junior dragster competitors. Some kids came as far as Australia to be part of the fun and excitement.

This year, two kids from Lebanon Valley Dragway attended the event as representative racers. Emily Burns from Staatsburg, NY and Mason Spinelli from Latham, NY took the trip.  Where our kids did their best to win in the main races, lady luck was not to be on their side. Thanks for the great representation.

As part of the event, there was a special race, the Mike Bos 64 Car Shootout where kids were chosen at random. It turned out by chance to be the most prestigious list of competitors at the event.  “Racin’ Mason” Spinelli found his name on this list and was confirmed as a competitor.

At 12:30am, 15 year old “Racin’ Mason” found himself facing the final round of the 64 car shootout. With family and friends near and far to cheer him on, he took his 2025 Mike Bos with a Kubicke Motorsports engine to the lanes.  He faced Landon Pruett from Georgia for the grand prize of $5,000 to win.

“Racin’ Mason” found himself  in the runner up position, but not without putting up a great fight in the race. Congratulations, “Racin’ Mason”!!! We are proud of you. Way to represent LVD.
