Lebanon Valley Dragway Roars Through a Busy August Racing Weekend

Busy, busy, busy. That’s what one would say about the weekend of racing on August 1 and 2, 2026 at Lebanon Valley Dragway. Saturday started off with the final race of the Junior Dragster Gamblers Summer Series, the Tri-9 Impala Club, Port-A-Tree races in no box and box along with North East Super Street.
Sunday was a fun filled day of Summit ET Classes as they start to wind down their points and qualifying to represent team Lebanon Valley at the Northeast Division 1 Bracket Finals on August 27-30, 2026 at their home track, Lebanon Valley Dragway where they will compete for individual and team prizes against eight other tracks from the Northeast Division.

On Saturday, August 1, the final Junior Dragster Gamblers Series hit the track for the 2026 season. Hudson Bleakley of Carmel, NY took home the win when he defeated Mason Spinelli from Latham, NY. Annastasia Watson from Middle Grove, NY finished her day in the semi-finals.

Bill DeBlasio of Huntington, NY took home the trophy in the Tri-9 Impala Club when he defeated Paul Roswell of Salem, CT in the final. Jim McCabe of Waterford, CT finished his day in the semi-finals.

In the Port-A-Tree No Box 1/8 Mile race, Scott Wrzesien of Ware, MA took home the win when he defeated Bill Rogers of Hudson Falls, NY. TJ Gennett of Portland, CT and Kyle Armstrong of Hartford, NY finished their day in the semi-finals.

In the Port-A-Tree Box 1/8 Mile race, Grant Nichols Sr of Marlborough, CT took the win when he defeated Jamie Dymond of Kerhonkson, NY in the final. Alan Kirby of Granby, MA finished his day in the semi-finals.

Ray Butler of Enfield, CT was on top when he won the North East Super Street race against Don Terpening of Port Ewen, NY. William Blaker III of New Rochelle, NY finished his day in the semi-finals.
This brings us to the events of Sunday, August 2, where it was the second to last Summit ET points race for the season. The event was sponsored by Brookside Equipment and was well attended.

In Super Pro, Mark Beaton of Torrington, CT defeate Alan Kirby of Granby, MA in the final round. Mick Hawkins of Albany, NY finished in the semi-finals.

In Pro Eliminator, Shawn Nichols of Marlborough, CT defeated Keith DeDominicis of Torrington, CT in the final round. Grant (LG) Nichols Jr of East Hampton, CT and Paul Scribani of Fultonville, NY finished in the semi-finals.

In Motorcycle/Sled ET, Jonathan Tisdale of Napanoch, NY defeated Shawn Rainey of Waterford, CT in the final round. Louie Supczak of Ware, MA finished his day in the semi-finals.

Mason Varin of Coventry, RI defeated Annastasia Watson of Middle Grove, NY in the final of Junior Dragsters. Hudson Bleakley of Carmel, NY and Milanya Medeiros of Halifax, MA finished their day in the semi-finals.
John Couture of Manchester, CT defeated Gavin Russo of Norfolk, CT in the final of Junior Street. Colton Couture of Manchester, CT and Ryleigh Morgan of Ballston Spa, NY finished their day in the semi-finals.
John Aulisio of Pittsfield, MA took top honors in the Open Trophy class when he defeated Mike Reed of Sharon Springs, NY in the final round. Thomas Stocklas of Troy, NY finished his day in the semi-finals.

David Pilbin of Norfolk, CT won the top trophy in the Affordable CDL Top Sportsman/Top Dragster category when he defeated Christina DeBartolomeo of Beaver Springs, PA in the final round. Herb Wagner of Ravena, NY finished his day in the semi-finals.
Join us for the last points race of the season on Sunday, August 16, 2026 where the champions will be crowned in all the Summit ET Categories and the racers who will represent Lebanon Valley will be determined.
