Kirpens Extends Points Lead on a Busy Wednesday Night

Better late than never. Unfortunately, I had thought I had posted this on the website but apparently it didn’t post. I apologize for the oversight.

Wednesday, August 12, 2026 was a great night of racing and testing and tuning for those who needed a mid-week break and to have some fun at Lebanon Valley Dragway. Unfortunately, we had an incident on the track and wanted to thank everyone for their patience while we attended to the extended clean up but we were able to return to racing and get it done.

In the Street ET /Sportsman class, Billy Kirpens Jr of Pittsfield, MA once again took the win extending his points lead when he defeated Joe Horacek Jr of Troy, NY. Michael Bloch of Colchester, CT and Bruce Staples of Stephentown, NY finished their night in the semi-finals

Mark LeBlanc of North Smithfield, RI took the win in Street Stick when he took his Mustang to the winner’s circle after he defeated Michael St. Martin of Huntington, MA in the final. Corey Dufel of Fort Johnson, NY and Ernie Sargenet of Chicopee, MA finished in the semi-finals.

Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY took his motorcycle to the winner’s circle when he defeated Jonathan Tisdale of Napanoch, NY in the final of Pure Street Motorcycle.  Duke Huyck of Valatie, NY finished his night in the semi-finals.

Christian LaBonte of Huntington, MA took the top spot in the Street Trophy class when he defeated Rich Brown of East Hampton, MA. Joe Wilkinson of Averill Park, NY and Glenn Koblenzer of Schenectady, NY finished their night in the semi-finals.
