Questions

How long have you been drag racing?
3 years behind the wheel but have been involved for 20+ years (was married to a Hamel a million years ago)

How did you get your start?   Steve let me take his Camero down the track and I have been hooked ever since

What’s been the biggest challenge to your racing program this season?  Compared to last season?   Having high hopes for the 2007 season and then crashing mid way thru the season.

What would you consider your biggest accomplishments as a racer?   None yet but shooting for a top 5 finish in Street for 2008

What’s gotten you hooked on the drag racing scene?   Speed

What are your plans for the future?   Get more seat time so I have the confidence to move up in class and race with the big boys (and girls)

What advice would you give to someone looking to start out?    Have fun and don’t take it too seriously (I need to take my own advise!!!)

Who are your biggest friends (or enemies) at the track?   Mark Dreimiller and his wife, Bill Ziganto, Tom Baird (hope you are back next year) and the guys who work with me at the track.  They always have my back.

Who do you fear having to see at the starting line?  Why? Facteau-so good on the tree and always consistent

Very briefly, tell me the dumbest mistake you've ever made at the race track?   Giving the stripe to the other guy

Anyone you’d like to thank, wives you HAVE to thank, other things not mentioned you feel are important?   Won’t be racing without my best friend and husband, Steve, and my grandson, Bradwick, who is my biggest fan.

What music do you listen to?  Who’s your favorite?   Aerosmith rules!!!

Any nick names for you?   None to my face but I am sure several behind my back!!!

Do you have any pets?   A low rider dog names Aussie

Do you have Kids?    3 Christyn (24), Kevin (21) and Zach (16) and a grandson Brad who is almost 5

What do you like to do as a hobby outside of drag racing?   I make jewelry, reading and crocheting (anyone need a baby blanket???)

What track do you dislike the most?   Only been to one (Lebanon) and it’s a love/hate relationship

Which is your favorite track to race on

Do you have a lucky charm?  What is it?    Carry Amethyst chunks in my pocket-they have the power to heal the mind, body and spirit

If you could meet anybody you wanted living or not who would it be?  Why .   John F Kennedy

Any additional comments?     Jim, thanks for all the hard work you put into the website and all the great photos you take
